In this video it is shown the preparatory stage to FAT, that is when all the gas system is installed definitively in our workshop and how it will be installed later in the plant of SINGAPORE OCGT MERANTI FUEL GAS TREATMENT SYSTEM. The gas treatment plant consists of two (2) horizontal separator filters, one (1) condensate tank, one (1) cold stack and one (1) ESO valve.
The function of the Natural Gas Interconnection System is to separate and filter the gas flow before supplying it to the turbine under the conditions required by the Project. The natural gas system is connected to the main pipeline network at the terminal point, through a DN 20” line.
At the inlet of the natural gas system, an automatic shut-off valve is installed to block the flow of gas in case of emergency, which will be operated by the Fire Fighting Control. The natural gas coming from the gas network will be subjected to a first separation and filtration suitable for removing trapped particles of the gas. For this purpose, a double skid is provided, each sized to 100% of the total flow rate. One skid is in operation, while the other is in stand-by ready to use.
The complete system is supplied with all valves and tools for correct and safe control. All instruments and electrical connections are connected to the appropriate junction boxes, which the customer will connect to transfer the appropriate signals to their DCS.
This gas treatment system works independently respecting the normal maintenance plan shown on the specific use and maintenance manual issued by our Technical Department. For all the activities to be carried out in site, our Technical staff is at the customer’s disposal in order to exercise the system in the correct way.
